This week was the "extra" week in the training schedule so I repeated the training same as last week, except running tempo at 8 km.
Probably due to the tempo run, I was feeling very tired on Wed. But I would suspect it was the compounding effect of that particular workday of almost few rest (30 min of lunch), with constant standing, walking, talking, and attending different people on different topic. The last straw for keeping me out for run, was the rain.
I was restless in the run this week. I feel that I just want the run to finish and complete it. The contentment of running is not there. Probably due to many datelines and events in the coming weeks and months.
Garmin 910XT was malfunction currently. Few weeks ago notice droplets around the screen and rubber around the button was broken. After a few search and unpleasant phone call to Malaysia distributor, I need to send the watch to them for them to send to Taiwan for a repair. The repair plus the postage is not cheap, and takes time. Considering get a new watch - only to find that the watch price just went higher and higher with the latest model. And the latest model come with all sorts of feather that like a scientific sensor rather than a sport watch.
Currently running with endomondo apps with my smartphone, while waiting for me to wrap that the watch for postage and repair. The old smartphone was not able to support the apps much that the apps keeps on crashing, especially at the critical moment that I feel I'm running the best pact of the session.
I could conclude that this year my fate was contradict with electronics. Started with video card spoiled, then computer monitor, then television, followed by computer hard disk, then it was smartphone (where all kind of apps crashed), then come this 910XT.
And worse still,"to repair" was like a funny option. Of all the shops and phone call I made, more than few times I was told to "get a new one", or "repair is more expensive", or "price like this also you want to repair?".
The world is just weird nowadays.
Well I'm just part of the weirdo which stay at the other end of the bell.
