First rain. Longest week.

I remember this very well, the first rain came Saturday, while I was half way presenting a assigned topic, at around 4.30pm. As the last one to present, everyone hoped you'll show the slide to conclusion. The rain brought everyone's mind out of the windows, mine too.

Is this the start of rainy seasons? It rained too today. The long drought finally come to a halt. The drain fill with water again. Long time.

However, despite the rain that gave clear air in Penang, I understand that MWM was cut short due to haze. How long should this problem bother us? Is this not an important issue?

For the missing flight, MH730, it's still a mystery. On Saturday my friend quoted on the FB, first time waiting for press conference of own country. This will definitely go down to the history. The nature of investigation has changed, now they said someone deliberately cause this. Whatever it is, the thought still with the passenger on the plane.

And for myself? Not an easy week. Stressed with things, both work and life, at least now I'm sitting here on Sunday night, looking back with mixed emotion. It's good, for being able to complete the mileage and training. However, it's always a pressure when looking at the training schedule, if there's double during work day, or a hard train. And the stress went into work. Is this ok? Rushing to airport today so can get back early for the long run. Is this ok? I've completed a hard training week as planned, but there's no feeling of fulfillment like before.

People say in life you have to put priority. What is priority? Priority of who? This is hard to deal with.

On running, everything is good. Completed second mesocycle (endurace and lactate threshold) which is psychological challenge. Next will consist of VO2max , long run and tune up race and then to tapper. There's be one more marathon race pace run.

Got to continue to plan to Rotorua. Pray that everything will be fine.

Lactate threshold 19 km with 11 km 15k pace target 4:05/km. The longest and last tempo run of the training so take it very seriously. Been nervous. Leg was tired at first, push tru the 1st and 2nd km and was ok. Surprisingly able to achieve near 4:00/km pace and able to sustain,. This is well much better compared to the same training last year. It could be due to run in the morning, lower temperature, and compare to evening run its usually tired after one day of work. Splits: 4:08, 4:02, 4:01, 4:00, 4:00, 4:02, 3:58, 4:02, 3:59, 3:57, 3:57

Long run, Notes: Longest run of the training. Kris-gurneyx2-polox8-st george-polox8-jesselton-bot bigx2-kris Anxious run. Rushed to airport then back to start the run. Chasing time as worried of the head later in the morning. Very anxious and counting each km. Not a good way to start a 39 km. End up-side stitch slightly to the middle on the right side occur at 26th km. Continue 3 more km and at a increasing pace and need to stop to ease the pain. the last 2 km before stop for stich was clocked the same pace at 4:31.8. I wonder if to sustain the pain made me push the effort wrong way. The last 10 km involved a lot of stop, for traffic mainly but for hydration too. Longest run, satisfied pace, but not enjoyable. The mind was chaotic.

Pray for MH370

Finished work and saw the news during lunch.
MAS Airlines plane MH370 missing while flying from KL to Beijing.
Shocked and hard to believe.
Following more news and confirmed it is true.
It felt near. A flight that flown from home country.
Currently (8:50pm local time) the news still reporting the status to be unable to locate the plane.

At first the word "missing" seemed describing once they "get back to the plane" everything will be alright.
Further reading realize that "missing contact" from a aircraft could mean other things. It is not like losing a signal from a handphone.
No distress signal from the plane. Sufficient fuel to destiny. What had happen?

Pray hard.
