Training to next event week -12 - another week without long run

Week -12, the second week of shin splint.
Mon and Tuesday was spent in the pool.
Shin splint kick in earlier this time.
Perhaps not enough rest from SCKLM on October.

Taken 4 days leave from work (Tues-Fri).
It's like a coincidence or common pattern, I'll fall into injury on the week that took longer leave. The same happen last training for SCKLM.

Weather been raining or cloudy for a whole week - a complete perfect time to enjoy training to the fullness.
Looking at the nice weather at the middle of the day but unable to run was not nice.
Wednesday able to out for a 21km - the second half under strong rain. When I reached Padang Polo, it's flooded. But another veteran runner was there too, and I ran in the field and around it. It's better than staying in the room.

Back and did more stretching to the tight area on left shin. There's no significant pain but as usual the "weird feeling" over there. The same went for the next few days. And on Saturday I feel the tightness before more then decided to omit another long run.

The mileage is 57km, but I do hope this won't turn to another few weeks off from run again.

Medium-long run, Notes: Huge rain upon reaching Padang Polo. Pace was higher even ran in flooded field or the uneven pathway around padang. Might due to cold weather and few days no running. Leg was fresh and all ok.

General aerobic, Notes: Left shin area feel a bit tightness after run. Not much complain during run although feel some weird feeling on left shin sometimes.

Recovery, Notes: Leg feel better. Not much complain during run except the weird feeling. Leg tightness again after the run.
