Logged another over 100km week and feels things are on their way.
There's rushing between times including wake up early most day of the week and traveled between location for event.
However I thought the body has used to it and this is not the most hectic week I ever had.
I do feel some tiredness at time but I guess it won't get worse.
At Wed medium-long run I feel quite tired towards the end.
Sneezed a few timed during the run but thought it was normal.
On Thursday morning after some routine work I found myself feeling cold and fatigue.
Fever kicked in. I'm lifeless through out the day.
Took the rest and omit run and sleep early thought I'll be better.
But no the symptoms get worse on second and third day.
General weakness, then it sneezed, then cough.
I couldn't do anything except sleep and wait for the medicine to take the fever away.
I've taken leave from Friday to Tuesday thought to rest the body (before the sickness start) and have a good train for marathon pace run.
However everything needs to put aside now.
The longest duration in this training cycle that without run.
It's been a while to be sick like this.
Perhaps rest is for good.

Lactate threshold, Notes: with 10km at tempo pace, target HRR77-88. Leg was still tired. Feeling unable to pick up pace even at the early 4km easy run. Padang Polo was with water and muddy at one section of the field. This cause a need to transit from the field to road outside to get a clean surface, through a uneven pavement. A windy day. Heartrate was unable to pick up since the start of tempo run. Heartrate stays below 80 and merely get to near 82-84 at the end. The main reasons will be the legs that not yet recovery. Long run, Notes: Not a confident day to run after the tiredness of Friday tempo. Feeling something at left shin but unsure if its psychology. Trying new way of running by consciously swing the hand anticlockwise instead of clockwise. It was said this can correct twisting of left leg that cause left shinsplints. Not sure how effective it will be but no harm trying. Weather was after rain, high humidity but cooling. The whole run was mixed with cold wind and weather was cloudy at most part of the run. First section outside USM was just follow the feeling. Get focus when enter USM and pace was faster. Pace gradually increased towards the end. Glad that complete another day of run.
