The weather was sunny with rain on several days, haze appeared on Thurs and Fri but rain and wind brought it away.
One public holiday on Mon and two leave days on Thurs and Fri.
All pointing to a good week for training, esp on this heaviest week of 1st mesocycle, with 1 lactate threshold, 2 medium-long runs and a marathon race pace run.
However running could only done up to Wed.
Tues and Wed was feverish that required to take leave from work. Feel accomplished as able to complete the run as planned on Tues and Wed. However, left shin become more painful after the excited run and retired the recovery on Thurs. Judging from the pain, I crossed the next few days training away. Back to pool again.
I lost the count of this happening.
May be I should permanently cut down the training mileage, and replace some of recovery days in the pool.
It's not as difficult as the first few times to miss the training now. Is this being disheartened or disappointed?
I shall go to the pool later.

Lactate threshold, Notes: with 6 km at tempo pace target 77-88 HRR. Split 4:05, 3:59, 4:03, 4:03, 3:57, 3:58 Woke up in the morning to felt feverish. Took in some PCM, VIT C. Feeling not well at work place thus took off went back for rest. A 2.5 hr sleep felt like 15 min, feel better but contemplated for the tempo run. Went out and felt still able to cope with. 6 km tempo done at around 85 HRR, pace was fluctuated a bit but consider ok. At the easy run after the tempo, followed behind a runner I guess he was running pose method for 2 km. It felt much easier to pace behind someone, the pace faster with more comfortable effort. When I off the Padang to back on my own, the pace drop and everything become difficult again.

Medium-long run, Notes: Still feverish, and feeling weak. Mouth ulcer was bleeding, continuously tasting metallic. Was thinking to omit the run too. Due to yesterdays tempo, the left shin pain become more noticeable. After 10 min nap, still went out with preparation to turn back. Start slow and thinking of go back at around 5km. The whole body was weak, uncomfortable. However, round by round seeing the pace improved, I continue. And the pace get better start 8th onward. It didnt get easier but for some reason the tempo yesterday the leg power is better. The pace get below 4:40/km at P.Polo and it felt alright. Could be due to the weather too. Tried to pay attention to keep hip forward too. However, I know Im putting the pressure on the shin.
