Training to SCKLM 2014: Week -17

Typing in the title and feeling nostalgic.
I was doing the same thing last year for 2013. Following the schedule and write it down weekly. It was from February 2013 to June 2013. Completed full training cycle but the race was postponed due to haze. I didn't take part in the later date. 
And it is another year now. Everything repeat again.
I don't have experience of preparing a marathon for the same race. Somehow it feel different when doing so.
The memory still fresh, but the number "2013" seems last century.

The training week started in under hot weather.
The news is this may last for 3-4 months.
With the hot weather, haze may make a come back.
No one seems to care for a solution except to warn keep away from outdoor during the haze.
It could be good if the training was forced to stop might reduce my chances of getting injury.
Last training for Rotorua were interrupted at about 6-7 weeks before race. 
Let's see how it goes this time.

 No run. Feeling sick and tired due to heat. Was not sleeping well at night due to the heat.

Lactate threshold, Notes: 14 km with 6 km 15 k pace target 77-88 HRR. Weather was very hot and humid. Was still not feeling well due to heat and disturbed sleep. Planned to run base on heart rate instead of pace because cannot certain the effort at target pace under this weather. Was able to get to target HRR at 1 km tempo, at the end the HRR was hitting 90 and got to control to avoid going to much. Not an easy run. Splits: 4:12, 4:11, 4:11, 4:12, 4:07, 4:09

Recovery, Notes: Weather was better. Temperature was lower and feeling the cold air.

Long run, Notes: Had a good rest and very rich meal previous and today. Weather was good when started to run. Cloudy, wind mix between cold and hot. Pace increasing in every km for the 1st 10 km. Running was feeling easy at the start and tired at the end at Padang Polo.
