Training to 50th Rotorua Marathon: Race Week

The last week lead to the race. The training was all recovery and a dress rehearsal 5 days before the race.
Although there's no demanding training but the body actually feel tired. 
Week like this come very uncommon, once every training cycle.
The training on this week adjusted to be one day earlier due to the race fall on Saturday.
1st of May run will be omitted as spending it for travel.

Dress rehearsal - worn all the attire that going to use on the race day. This will be the first time I try new things - a compression pants, new brand of shoes (Asics which tested during Around the House run). During Around the Houses run the shoes cause significant blister under the ball of right feet in 2.4 km run starting about at 1 km. I suspect it was due to the thin layer of socks so decide to use another usual socks this time (turn out that blister happened again on race day, luckily still able to make it to finish). Leg was not fresh during the dress rehearsal, and unable to pick up to the target race pace. Part of the street along Gurney Drive was dark without light that cause some problem to run too.
