It could be late recovery from Tues and Wed run, or the effect of one week of work.
It's just a random term hopefully it won't repeat too often.
Usually Wed is the stressful day. As it's a medium-long run (around 19-24 km) putting at the middle of the week, and for a "punctual working hour" plus the traffic, the run can only start around 6.30 p.m. Sometimes, the Wed run will be preceded by tempo run on Tues.
Currently also add in some steeper elevation (Botanical larger loops) just to get the leg used to it.
First time developed heart burn during the run, and it was at 30 km after sipping some isotonic drinks. How come? Is the way of drinking incorrect or? Willl need to find out.
There's no strength workout this week, one of the common problems for a 5 days working week.
The trend seems to be like this: hardworking for strength training at the start of the schedule, then it'll gradually lessen when the days go, mileage gone up or whatever reasons. Will need to find time for it next week as there's some holidays for CNY.

Medium-long run, Notes: Started late for a med-long run. Tried all the best to be early but met with unexpected event that need me to walk to Gurney to get something. Sometimes have to learn to accept event of life. Kristal-Botanicalx8-Youth-Polox6-Kristal Run was able to achieve below 5.00/min pace at some part of the loop. Could be the lower temperature continue and leg still able to take the training. Finish dinner 10 plus p.m. and sleep in condition not fully digest.

Medium-long run, Notes: Another late day to start. Leg was still tired and heavy. A 5:00/km effort but the actual pace was 5:30/km. Doubtful of how to finish the run. Still, headed Botanical for two rounds of bigger loops at the start of the run. A bad choice but wish to train the leg to run some elevations. Situation did not turn good through out the run. Fluctuated pace and fight between body and mind. The same condition two weeks ago.

Long run, Notes: Route: Kristal-Gurney drive go and back-Polox6-Around St Georgesx1-Polox6-Jesselton-Youth-Botanical bigger loopx2-Kristal First 32 km after a long time. Eventful run. Seldom do long run in Penang Island due to the route not suitable for me for long run. The choice is further limited by history of injury due to multiples loops at Padang Polo Ran 6 loops at P.Polo then went to the tar road around St Georges Girl School to get the change of surface before continue another 6 loops at P.Polo. Lots of stops to hydrate, cross the roads, including to stretch the ankle for some uneasiness after 10-20 km running on different terrain. Psychology or injury not again? Challenge myself with 2 Botanical larger loops at the later part of run at about 26 km. Tired leg from Wed run has recover. Out from Botanical at 30 km I sipped some water and suddenly develop heart burn and aggravated as I run. Had to stop down a few times for the 2 km. Chewed two antacids upon finishing the run. I experience side stitch a lot, but what cause a heart burn after the run go into 30 km? Was it the Wed dinner or Fri dinner? Will need to check some information on this. After all, still a enjoyable run.
