After several weeks of enjoying running without pressure of following schedule, the training weeks to race started again 4 weeks. ago. This time I opted a 113 to 137 km schedule from Pfitzinger's "Advance Marathoning 2nd Edition" - the book that I've been referring to. In this schedule, there's 7 days training per week, sometime it's a double. I am still with much worries that how far can I keep up with the training. What about the stretching, core workout and strength training? What about the daily job? What if there's changes? Or is it sane to try maintain the job as stable as possible so that I can follow the training?

In his blog, Francis wrote about obsession and he analyzed "when does running become obsession?" I read it so fast that I was scared I fall into any points he mentioned. May be I am in the category.

I've opted SCKLM because it's in Kuala Lumpur and I can save up a bit on travel and accommodation  Plus the logistic and planning is not easy for me to go alone abroad. I like to go oversea for it's climate and treat as a vacation, but when the time is right and have extra savings.

That's how 18 weeks countdown started.
1st week completed with no complain as I had been running for past weeks. There's no run on Thursday due to night shift at work.

Good luck to myself.

  2. Hey Fabio you are fast, I just posted it. Ya it's higher mileage than my previous one. I'm worry because I have not much time for core and strength work out. Last time I used to have injured at the end of schedule.

Your barefoot train has shaped you well. Your double PB at Double Hill today proves it. It's time for you to fly now.
