No hard day or long run for the week. The longest distance is 24km.
I was away from Penang to Melaka from Thurs to Sunday, which bother me since long time ago that how do I complete the training.
Gym? Or run at the local street.
Finally I ran the recovery in the morning before depart, omit recovery on Sat and brought forward the medium long run from Sunday to Saturday, as Sunday will reach Penang late.
My first plan was to just ran in the hotel's gym. However when I wore with all gadget stepped into the gym and two only treadmills was occupied. So I proceed to the second plan which is follow the "route nearby" in Endomondo to a local running spot in Melaka - Bukit Serindit Recreational Park, which is just beside Stadium Tun Fatimah. I ran from the hotel to the spot and completed the run for Fri and Sat there.
This come to a common problem to me, where to run if I have to be at other place for some occasion? For running I've make my life trimmed up, get to room early, no other sports, no outing at night, just to make sure each training was completed. Well it was a headache when have to be outstation for work or for family occasion, and the question will be when and where to run?
There are two weekends in October that will be spent at outstation too, one in Segamat, Johor and the other one Yan, Kedah. Segamat one could probably sorted out, while there's really no clue for Yan, and it fall on the week I don't wish to skip any session.
I am always amazed by runners who able to train good at the same time do good in life.
How do they do it?
